Our roots
Rachel and Jeremiah began their farm in 2016 as a hobby. The hobby grew into a passion for supplying high-quality fresh produce to their community.
Rachel earned an MBA with a Sustainability focus. During the MBA program, Rachel became interested in global food security, food access, and the food supply chain. Rachel wanted to take action at a local level, but where to start?
Jeremiah jumped into action. He researched different ways to begin a farm and shared what he learned with Rachel. They made a plan.
Innova Farms was created.

While the micros are growing..
Rachel and Jeremiah have day jobs too! Rachel works at a local anti-poverty non-profit. Her job focuses on quality and impact of services, client privacy, and staff training. Jeremiah works in analytics and business intelligence.
When they aren’t working or farming, Rachel and Jeremiah are raising their family. They believe in teaching the next generation by example. Sustainability practices and taking care of your community while thinking on a global scale are values worth passing on. Innova Farms is true family business.
